On November 13th, the Austin Bruins Junior Hockey team came to meet with 3rd-5th grades to talk about healthy habits. They encourage healthy eating habits, anti-bulling and healthy behavior at home and school. The students all received wrist bands, game schedules, and punch cards that parents or teachers can punch when they notice a student practice healthy habits. When the card is full they can redeem the card for a free pass to a Bruins home game in Austin. The students asked the players many good questions about how important education is to them. All the players are planning to play hockey in college.
