Tonya Franks has been with District 241 since 2002. Prior to working as a special education teacher with District 241, Tonya worked as a first grade teacher, preschool teacher and paraeducator. From 2002 - January 2015, Tonya worked as a special education teacher at Lakeview Elementary. In January 2015, she took on the Lead Teacher position at the Area Learning Center and in July 2015 transitioned in to the role of principal. In January of 2018 Tonya took on the role of Principal at Halverson Elementary and looks forward to this new opportunity.
