Governor Dayton has declared November 14-18 Minnesota College Application Week.  It is part of a national push to encourage students to start the application process.  Application fees are to numerous colleges & universities throughout our state are waived this week.

The current Albert Lea High School activities director and head football coach announced Friday that he has accepted a position at Benton Community High School in Van Horne, Iowa, as an at-risk program coordinator and head football coach.
