School Board Meeting to be held March 2nd at 5pm

February 27, 2015

The Albert Lea Area School Board will be adopting a calendar on Monday evening for 2015-16.  Two calendars are being considered by the board.  Both are 171 days in length.  One calendar starts before Labor Day, and finishes first semester by the winter break.  Students graduate on May 20th.  The other calendar starts after Labor Day, and students graduate June 3rd.  Since these calendars have reduced the number of student contact days by 4, all snow days will be made up the week after our seniors graduate.  Please click here to see the calendars.
