Gayle Brownlow has been teaching Spanish in District 241 since 1993 and is the Gifted and Talented Coordinator for the District. She received her B.A. in Spanish, math and education from Macalester College and has studied graduate coursework at the University of Minnesota-Rochester and University of Minnesota-Mankato.
In 2013, Gayle earned her Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from St. Catherine University. She has also earned her Graduate Certificate in Gifted, Creative and Talented Education at University of St. Thomas. In 2016, she received her Talented and Gifted (TAG) Endorsement from the University of Iowa.
Gayle studied Spanish in Guatemala, Colombia, and Ecuador. She has traveled with students to Spain, Mexico, and Costa Rica.
