"My role at the high school will be to support students in an education setting. I will be providing individual and/or group therapy, mental health support, crisis prevention and response, and evaluation and assessment. I strongly believe it is also important to encourage (and teach) all students to be their own self-advocate.
At this time, I am at the high school part time, the other aspect of my position is the social worker for early childhood special education. Research has shown how vital early intervention is for a child to be successful. Childhood years are the most important years in a person’s life."
